What I want to know is what do search engines prefer the most regarding urls. I've noticed on my site that it takes along time for search engines to index my pages that have a "?" and PHP extension in them. I know this is because of there dynamic nature.
I'm going to launch a new section of my site and found that if I alter my .htaccess file I can force the server to process HTML files as PHP.
So, with that thinking if I publish a file called:
site.com/something?=1.html
Will the search engine think it's static because of it's HTML extension or do I need to find a way to get rid of the "?".
