I just found this site, 10-millionhits.com, and have revisited it a few times. I'm looking to get into advertising for my site. Any suggestions, or successful programs, please let me know. Thanks.

Hmm... I would personally be more inclinded to go with a single site or something a bit more targetted. 80 million e-mails are useless if nobody buys...

I used it for my client. NOT recommended. 100% Junk Traffic. All software generated or via Popups somewhere that is not visible. Hardly any click throughs !! Only Homepage or Landing Page views. !!

I'm looking at the different means of advertising, any suggestions what would be a CHEAP but real way of getting visitors? I plan on investing in the future, but for now I'm looking for a cheap means of traffic. I'm seeing that the advertising is a WHOLE other part of web design. I would think that email advertising would be the way to go? Any feedback would help AND be appreciated. Thanks.

I think the two methods of advertising which are best to follow at the moment are:
1. Pay-per-click search engines. If you sign up for Google Adwords and/or Overture you can get a good ranking in Overture and an advert on Google and you're only paying for the visitors you get to your site. Although some search terms (like 'web hosting') for example can mean paying a huge amount per click to get to the top, you can always find niche words, and pay only a few cents per click

2. Affiliate programs. This one is expensive to set up and run but is excellent as you are only paying for results. Places like Fineclicks (http://www.fineclicks.com) are relatively cheap and easy to set up with and if you pay people a percentage of sales, you really can't loose!

I've decided to try my first campaign with Overture. I see LOTS of potential with that website.

Forget those spam email services... at that price all you can expect is that tons of webmasters before you have already spammed all possible sponsors... At a point that thoses emails have no credibility at all... targeted advertising is the way to go.
Google ads and overture are excellent.
