I managed to get 2 great domains (www.imexforum.com and www.eximforum.com) and I've put up a forum. Now I need to start promoting it. Any ideas?

Its a forum about the import/export industry and there isn't to much competition in the field.

You can make banner or link exchanges with other sites and forums, participate in a forum like this one. Submit your forum to all major search engines, start a newsletter. Do you have a tell a friend feature? Also, check the Forum Community Building Library.
