Hi all. Need some advice; if I had 1,000 ++ website addresses - is there an automated way to send my link to them for a link exchange?

Any mass mailer will do that, but it's spamming.
People don't dont like it.

STOX / B'N'Man -- I didn't know.

If I were to send out link exhange requests, myself - 1 at a time - would that be different? Why is it not spamming when you use one of the Link Exchange Co's? How do they do it differently? Can I do it myself - efficiently?

Why is it so tough to get a straight answer from people who belong to online Forums?

Isn't that what you are here to do? Advise. You understand that the people writing in - don't know what you know - right? Perhaps - it's more of a closed club.

Maybe - you assume that visitors are unintelligible morons, inexperienced in business in general? I wouldn't make that assumption if I were you; I am far from that. I've made more money in a week than 95% of you will earn in a decade.

Often when I have asked for info / advice I get a 'boys club' answer like the one above from Mr. Hirst (... flattering avatar selection, B-T-W).

That having been said - let's be clear: I have 2 questions; First, H O W do I get my website to link with other relavent sites, either on my own or using a service? Second, how can one submit many requests - pointed at known sites in a category in which I am interested?

First one to answer with something meaningful gets a big bag of picks. Now, go out and try to help someone ...

Apologies if you don't like the answers you were given, all you will get here are peoples opinions, HONEST opinions as well.
Three answers from three people saying the same thing, surely that will tell you something! Even if you don't want to hear it. You asked about automated (your emphasis) ways to get link exchanges and got told some opinions on automated methods

Quite honestly I could not care less if you think you make more money than anyone else, but don't you think that "nah! nah! nah! I'm richer than you are", seems a very juvenile response, but hey ho!

There is only one way to get links that will help with sales and conversions and that is to have good content that people want to link to.

I stand by my earlier criticism - and, I appreciate very much your advice, above. Two disparate thoughts, right?.

I brought up the money issue to make a point about the 'unknown' factor in the people who visit the Forum for help. Your answers might be just what we need -- and might be much more important to us than you'll ever know.

All I'm suggesting is you try to answer each question fully and directly - rather than with a short-hand understood only by the club-members.
