I'm currently having trouble understanding the traffic data i get from Cpanel. Where can i find a good traffic analyser that is free and not limited. Sort of like statcounter.com but isn't so restricted.

Thought for today:- I SEO the only industry where all the cowboys are Indians?
Well the simple ones are the ones that probably came with cPanel. What part of data aren't you understanding? I'm sure we can shed a little light on it.

Depends on the stats package. The one I like better that generally comes with cPanel is awstats. It doesn't show your unique visitors on a daily basis as a stat, but it does show your unique visitors total for the month so it's pretty easy to determine the average per day. It's the first thing that's listed at the top of the page. If you're looking at Webalyzer I think the 'sites' category is the closest they get to unique visitors though I've never really thought webalyzer all that accurate.
Both show referrer links. Webalyzer calls them just that though most will probably show as pages on your site since when people click from one page of your site another the referring page is one from your site. With awstats they show them as links from external pages toward the bottom. Neither though is associating the referring link with a specific visitor.
I also have a latest visitors option with cPenal that will show info about one specific user and by following the trail you can tell a little more about the specific path a given visitor took through your site.
