Ok,
Im looking to earn a bit more money from my site (www.dannyisonfire.com).
Ive already got google ads up, and am wondering if there are any other things i could do.
I was thinking along the lines of 100x100 images dotted around the site here and there, or perhaps a small list of links etc.
Basically, i want to earn more money through new ads, but not let them get in the way of the actual content.

selling text links or banners would be a good idea. People will want traffic though, so they are only likely to buy them if your site has enough traffic.

I'm a novice too and just trying to learn more about the buisness. The site looks kind of busy and the black background makes it hard to read.

It looks like you have enough advertising already, but you could probably integrate it into your site better. I would suggest adding some content in the side bars between the Affiliates and Advertisements sections. Right now, there's content at the top, and the rest of the bars are filled with ads, so it's easy for the user to just ignore the sidebars and focus on the center of the page where the content is. If there was content in the sidebars, their attention would be directed there, and they would be more likely to click on your ads.
