Hi all,

I love this forum!

I'm a web-programmer for a small company. I have two questions:

1.) I posted this one also in the HTML forum. We send out our eNewsletter everymonth via email. We use QuadraMail and send out a text and HTML version.

Any clues on standards or tricks to make HTML go through more and not wind up in bulk? My email is under 40K, limited with images, has no blue or red type and uses CSS which are right after the head (Yahoo! and AOL doesn't handle inline CSS well).

Any suggestions.

2.) Anyone know of a good software/provider for an online bookstore? We're currently using StoreFront and I really don't like them as they're not helpful in design questions (always upselling their own designers).

Any suggestions? I was thinking of designing our own site and use PayPal.

I can't answer the email question but for an online bookshop I imagine you'd want to be able to define extra product data fields such as ISBN number and reader reviews?

The two carts that spring to mind are X-cart and Jshop - both have custom prodct fields and reviews already built in along with nice features like bestsellers, top products, special etc etc
