Hello,

I'm french and I run an affiliate program. It's working great in France, Italy and Spain and I'm now trying to reach the UK and US market. So, I'm trying to promote my website on these markets. I'm currently using Overture and I would like to have your opinion about the best pay per click programs available on the internet. I want to place text links or banners on targeted websites (my affiliate program is about gambling).

I've opened an account with Goclick but I'm sure there are more efficient and cheaper programs on the Internet.

And does it exist free programs to promote websites ?

Thank you for your help

Banner exchanges are a good free way to promote websites. You place a banner on your page, and in exchange your banner appears on other pages.

The key is to find an exchange which has a good ratio of banners shown on your page:your banners on other pages. In addition, it's key to find a service that quickly turns credits into impressions; there are a lot of exchanges out there with a 1:1 ratio, but they're so small that your credits will never get used up.

Try Googling "Free Banner Exchange", or check out our site--we have reviews of a small selection of exchanges.

Good Luck
Tom

first, i would give you a tip. In adwords there is somehting called 'site targeted'. Ofcourse, having an affiliate program, you are looking for webmasters who are willing to work hard to make some $. i suggest you open yourslef an adwords account, and target your ad only to webmaster forums, such as this one for exmaple. Then your signups/leads/ hopefully sales will go up. Wish you luck, Roy
