Why?????
The Alexa rank is far, far, far more useless than PR

the only people to even look at it are the noobs and the gullible when being sold a snake oil farm website as a money making proposition

download and install the Alexa toolbar and visit your own site 50 times a day, get your friends and family to do the same. Or even easier download and install one of the many "change your Alexa rank" bots and run that for a couple of weeks.

don't trust alexa rank. it can be maniulated easily (see chrishirst's post), and it just isn't right..

with 10 uniques a day, a site of mine is alexa 80,000 (and no i don't even have an alexa toolbar!)

Alexa ranking is not credible and doesn't have value as the rankings can be easily manipulated by installing the Alexa toolbar and visiting your site daily.
