As GBuy is all set to launch within a few days, how many of you will shift to GBuy from Paypal. I will definately go for GBuy.

Why not give the customer the choice and offer both?

Yeah that will be your best bet.

But sinse eBay banned Google Checkout i wonder if eventually we will see paypal say that sellers can't use Gbuy or google checkout and paypal to recieve payments for the same products, In the same way google say we can't use other contextual ads on the same page as adsense.

Paypal do seem very worried by googles step into the online payments market, but i don't blame them sinse google seem to do very well in whatever market they set foot in. Sinse paypal are the only online payment provider (i know there are others but they don't compare to paypal) every person that uses google checkout or Gbuy will be one less customer for paypal, And that is something big to worry about for Paypal/eBay.

Paypal is winning so far: http://www.apopularitycontest.com/di...poll.php?ID=93

But I do believe the ban ebay is making on google is not forever. You have to remember Ebay didn't always own paypal. Because of paypal, ebay was able to make more money, and more money faster (instant cut on every purchase). They were probably able to buy paypal with the money they made off of paypal!

I believe ebay's current ban on google is only because they have yet to have a banking history. It' not like they have bad credit, but zero bank industry credit. Google will do their little gpay or whatever for a while, and as millions of people sign up, Ebay will annouce "Now Pay With GPay!" , and the hords of new ebay customers will coming rolling in.
