I'm wondering, what are some proven methods you've used to gain revenue on your sites? I have a few blog sites that have good PR and I'm looking for a nice CLEAN way to gain some revenue.

Banner Ads?
Links?
Adsense?
Other?

What has worked for you? What hasn't? I'm not sure about adsense, only because these are blog sites and I want to compliment them. Adsense can be downright ugly looking in some situations.

For me it's all AdSense and some textlinks I sold privately..

I would at least try Adsense. In my experience, they pay you more per click than other services out there, and if you do a good job setting up color palettes, Adsense ads blend pretty well into your site.

Any advertising is going to stand out to some degree--Adsense has high payouts and is relatively customizable, so I would at least give them a shot.

I agree with everyone above. Try adsense. Its simple to install and you can start making money right away.

I also think adsense is better than other programs because you can easily change the colors and you have a huge selection of different ad displays.

YPN is good..cpc >adsense

Try cj.com. If you can choose some affiliate programs there, appropriate for your website, it is definitely a much quicker way to earn revenue than PPC and PPM like Adsense and YPN, etc.

Hmm, thanks for the replies. I'll check into all of them. I guess it is true that when colors, etc. are picked correctly, adsense can blend in pretty well.

Depends on what type of traffic and how much traffic your sites gets. Adsense is the best way IMO

No doubt adsense is best, but affiliate program has more potential I think.

For blog sites i use adsense. After testing different ads is the one who makes most money.
