Yes thats too many things in one question. "Best", "Free", "Invisible", "Unlimited" but being a non-profit I cannot afford paid statistics and logs offerred by other hosts.

Can someone please recommend me to such a provider who gives these for free? I am currently with Statcounter.com but they restrict the log size to 100 which is really not working well for me.

I read somewhere once that you can increase the log size on statcounter. But I'm not sure how, and I'm not sure if its free.

Do you not have stats in your control panel? Those are about as good as it gets.

You should have some form of statistics package with your hosting account. If you don't you may want to find another web host since most offer some stats package for free.

However those packages are only so good. Usually the better ones are going to cost something, but you can try to sign up for Google Analytics. It's free and offers more than most hosting packages will.

Yes, I agree with you. It provides very useful statics. But it does not track IP's. I think the only bad point is this about Google analytics.

I'd really suggest contacting StatCounter and asking them to freely upgrade your package or improve whatever service you're using. Most services like this will do it for free upon request.

NextGenStats - free counters and stats is also a great one...I've used them with great success. There's a lot of free ones out there - what exactly are you looking for or needing? I know invisibility is a must for you.

Usually I tend to just use my server's stats programs.
