Any ideas how to drive traffic to an blog (any special tricks for blogs)
My blog is an enterteiment one (funny pictures jokes and videos) http://www.funny-stuff.net

I see you are using Wordpress.

Have you set it up to ping all the blog websites like technorati and so on?

if you look here http://codex.wordpress.org/Update_Services theres a list of ping address'. Just log into your wordpress account and then under, 'Options' then 'writing', just paste that list into the 'Update Services' box. this will help a bit.

Is it a kind of site, where you surf for other sites and gain credit? If it is I don't recommend it at all as it is only a quick fix. Plus if you have adsense in your, you will likely to get banned.

My suggestions to you is to aim for quality traffic. And this will not happen overnight. With unique and good content, you will get there eventually. Submit to directories and write articles.

Another thing you could try is leaving comments on related blogs and leave your blogs address there. Make sure you don't just spam though, make sure you leave valuable comments.
