I've just purchased this forum www.globalgoldtalk.com. I don't have much experience with forums so your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

What is the best way to promote such forum?
What would you add to the forum? What is missing?

well, try swapping links with other forums, bring friends in and make them post, try to make the forum real active because once it is -- it will become self feeding for the SE.

also, what i did when my Lorelei Web Forum only started off - i swapped posts with other people with new forums, means they posted in mine and i posted in theirs... so it can give a bit of a good start as members might stay there.
