I think you have to charge for the adult images/features. Like you said before, it's the only way to ensure that they're blocked from most underaged eyes.
You're showing your revenue from your site, not your income. What are your operating expenses? Do you have employees? Are you making enough to live comfortably yourself? (If the latter is true, then leave it. If it's false, then examine it.)
5172.12 pounds isn't bad at all. I'd probably be inclined to leave it as is.
