You could try submitting them to sites like, digg.com, furl.net and reddit.com

Why limit yourself to just one or two article directories? I'd use a service like article marketer and send them to a bunch of article directories. Then next week, I'd write two more (actually, I write a bunch of articles per week) and send them also. The following week, well...you get the picture.

If you're going to submit your articles, submit them everywhere!
