Some event, some statergy or may be some tips that made your forum or website get a kick start in a short period? Any such experiences if you would like to share?

I mean like I made a contest for hacking and the word hacking kinda brought me lot of traffic it was sudden & surprising for me to see. So just thought that may be anyone of you?

one asnwer: from engines, fprget about a kik start. You u have the bugdet - a kik start would be a cintruction of an effciant and correct PPC compaign. Peace

When i had a forum i hired forum writer to add 1000 bits of useful topics and replies, and i would say this is a good way to go for two reasons, 1, no blackhat and 2, search engines love busy sites with good written contents....

One bad thing after a few months goodle pr it at 4 and then i had a lot of spam and very little time to remove it all, so that's one to watch out for, the better its gets the harder it becomes.

You can pay people to make forum posts, just make sure your site is indexed first, that way the SE's will go in and read and read and read and start to index you more frequently.
