We've recently launched what we feel is a pretty fun idea: a free toolbar that lets any site add a button that opens arbitrary HTML content, if the visitor's so chooses of course. For many sites this could be a great way to make their content even more accessible - it's one click away for users and always current. BUT, things are going slow and many don't seem to understand the concept, even though it's very simple "at heart".
I would really appreciate any thoughts on both the concept as such, and on how to spread the word. We're mainly "technogeeks" that thought this idea was too cool to dismiss, but have little experience with marketing, or whatever you'd call it when you want to make a free, new technology take off...
You'll find the site here: http://www.hotnav.com. Under the "introduction" section there's a pretty good overview of the basic idea (but the text needs a few spelling/grammar corrections)
Thanks in advance for any thoughts!!
