Are spam emails worth it?

I would say no, for most people are sketchy when it comes to receiving random emails. And on top of this if you are hiring someone for this, you don't know if their list is legal or not.

I get thousands of SPAM emails a day.I hate them, this is why I don't really use email marketing much.

plus, A site that spams is ever going to become a trusted quality provider of information. They will always be just spammers.

Nobody has ever liked spam. Most people don't open it anyway. Surprisingly, many companies still use it today. However, I believe advertising dollars could be better spent in other areas that would generate better results.

The problem with most of the responses is that they're based on the presumption of user intelligence. WE have the intelligence to know better than to open up spam and/or buy the crap inside. But do THEY (meaning the masses?)

I would suggest to everyone that they don't...if they did, then spam would be a long-dead beast by now. But a business model that really only requires about a .01% response rate (that is the correct percentage...usually it's about 1/10000) to break even doesn't need much...just the occasional idiot and they're all set.

And is there an idiot among every 10000 people on the planet? Absolutely!

So...it is "worth it" in terms of profitability. It's just ethically disgusting, that's all.

yeah, stay as far away from spam as possible. However, I would say the legitimate email marketing is one of the best forms of marketing there are. Just make sure your mailing list is double opt-in, you give members an easy way to unsubscribe and you clearly let your subscribers know how often you will be emailing them before they sign-up.

it's illegal . as i know chinese goverment has sent somebody to the prison because of the sending spam mails .
