Your default page is tiny - most of the screen is black, with the site in the middle. I think you can get away with using more screen space. On that note, your site really looks like it's geared toward video games (only), although your domain name would let you expand this niche, and be able to attract more traffic.
No offense, but things are kind of bare right now. I'd focus on content for a while and work on attracting viewers, as a first step, so they have reason to stick around. That's a bit of a catch-22, since you'll want lots of traffic in your forums to be able to attract more; you might want to seed your forums with some creative ideas for topics? It looks like you're planning to add a review section; this is a great way to attract readers to a technology site. ( PM me if you'd like reviews on a couple of digital SLRs. )
The terms of service you're working under are perfectly reasonable, and shouldn't give you any problems. Basically, don't do anything illegal, and you should be in the clear.
Also, for future reference, don't drop links with "my site" as anchor text; that will really only help you if people do a search for "my site." The one in your sig is much better, although you might want to go a step further. Try using two words ( "Technology Forever" ) since you'll already do well if someone searches for your domain name. In future, drop links to your review section like come check out my
review of such and such. You'll come up for words that aren't even on your page if they're the anchor text in enough links pointing to you. "Click here" is nowhere on Adobe's site, yet they're the #1 result, probably from blogs writing about their downloads.
Sign up for Google Webmaster Tools & Analytics, both of which are free. These will give you some feedback on how your efforts are working out, where people are coming from. Oh, and if you'd like, you're welcome to use any of my
creative commons photos if you attribute them to me with a link. None is particularly tech oriented, though.
