I use bebo it has millions of members so I use my bebo profile to give release dates to say concerts and game release dates then having a link back to my site ive had a good few people join from that I was also making bebo skins/templates for people with the site name on them because my sites only new i would'nt have had alot of visits but this has seemed to work.
I also use link partner exchanges had alot of people try to gain from my site and not give anything in return had one quy i gave him a banner and I had a thread on my site for his site under a link partner section on my forum but he took the banner off and thought I would'nt notice got one member from that now she is a moderator on my site had two other link partners now but both of them have PR4 but never get any members from that.
but the bebo one is good i have aout 400 skins being used from my site and others from the bebo site and everyone that I made a skin for has a link to my site so I have about 700 links from bebo to my site not bad.
I was thinking of using the local radio to promote my site but because of the name of my site everyone would go onto the wrong site.
