Before we submit for you, we must verify that you show our link on your website. We will inspect it within (5) business working days and will continue to do so for 90 days. You must show it on the TOP of your main page on your website for 90 days. Any violation will cause your website not to be updated.
That is crap!

I want to submitt to 600 000 engines,
not do an exchange link deal..

I don't know about it being "crap" Most sites that offer free submission ask for a link even "addme.com" as well as our site.
Now 600,000 SE seem a bit much and prob include a lot of FFA sites. Which will get you a lot of SPAM. But it can be worth it depending on your site.

On a seperate note, asking to have a link at the TOP of a main page and then for 90 days etc etc is a little extreme.

Even though we ask for a link for site submissions, its more of a "I hope you do the right thing and put our link on" than a threat.

Most sites that do basic link exchanges don't put it on a main page, it goes to a link page never to be seen again.

When we do link exchanges with other sites, we do not have a "links" page. We try and put the link on a page that reflects the site.

So even though it may be extreme to ask for TOP link placement in exchange for the submission service, it isnt unheard of to ask for a link.

The link at the top of the page is a deal breaker. Who on earth wants a link to another company on the top their page? Not me.
