Does anyone know how to get a higher search engine result...I always though if I had a good pr, i'd be higher up - but one site has a PR1 (I have PR3) and they are on page 2 of the results.

My site is http://www.airtalentonline.co.uk and I want to be higher in the search results for 'voice overs'...how can I acheive this? In google, yahoo, msn...etc.

Thanks,

Hayley

Hayley it's not a question anyone can really answer in one post or thread. Spend some time in the seo forums here. Spend some time reading through them and then ask specific questions.

We'll be happy to answer your questions and help where we can, but it really is hard to answer a general question of how to rank better.

You've already learned one thing though and that's that PR is not the most important thing when it comes to search results.

The absolute most basic answer is that you need hyperlinks from other sites to yours with the anchor text "voice over" with or without the s ... someone in here can tell you how search engines deal with plurals, and whether it's a good idea.

If you're not clear on anchor text, it would be voice overs. The next question is where to get those links from ... and that's when there stop being simple answers.
