No "chrishirst" i shared this list for those who want to increase their bookmarking list.
I also got this list from a site and i added all these sites in my list because all the sites are dofollow.

regarding this topic "Bookmarking - one of the best traffic sources?"
Heavy traffic social bookmarking sites like (reddit, stumble, folkd, digg, diggo, stumpedia, fave etc..) can raise huge traffic to your site but if we also use other bookmarking sites than it will be much effective for get more traffic.
Because a little hard work never hurt anyone

Bookmarking is good option for generate traffic but it is better to submit only on high PR and dofollow sites.

My greatest source of traffic all this time is from article submissions, I also get traffic from social bookmarks but not as much as I expected, is there any optimization technique whatsoever that i can do to get more traffic from them besides bookmark exchange? I don't really like it as it sounds to fishy for me.
Usually I go to http://www.socialmarker.com it's a site where you can do bookmarking to several top bookmarking sites semi automatically.

Actually bookmarking IS the best traffic source, just not the way you lot (mostly) mean it. If someone likes your site so much that they BOOKMARK it eg to their toolbar, then you will get lots of traffic, from anyone who likes it. It means you have made a site which humans like. If you can do that, "you're a man, my son". Or a woman, obviously. But not a boy or a girl, is the point. You've graduated to the world of "web developer".

As per my opinion, Yes, bookmarking is the very good traffic source. But I think Forum Posting is the best source of traffic.
Through the forums, if we have the capabilities it will be a good tool for building brand and of course also get a backlink via signature at the threads which is our contribution in that forum.
