I am new to website marketing and am basically working part-time to help promote a friend's site. I was wondering if anyone had purchased the material on Glenn Canady's Gorilla Website Marketing site and whether it was worth it? And could someone please explain to me what anchor text is in simple terms.

I did a link exchange with gorilla.

I've never had any traffic from them, and some guy kept calling me trying to get me to sign up to some scam or another...

Focus on getting inbound links to your site with your keyword in the anchor text. If you are optimizing for Google, check out our guide to optimizing for google

I totally Agree Link with Anchor Text. with a mixture of Pay Per Click Ads until you are ranked.
