I've got a single proxy website that is currently pushing high traffic (984, 2727 and 3208 uniques PER DAY for the last 3 months) The last total is THIS months current traffic, but growth seems on par compared to past months. My problem? Is the website itself, which is a proxy website... If all the traffic gets pulled through my server, the web user; when they click on ads, will show my server IP for the click. So, I can only get 1 click a day to count on pretty much any reliable paying network ive run across.
The thought about charging a fee has come into my mind, and allowing more user controls and some added features and what not; but for now I am looking at ways of keeping SPAMMER LIKE ads out of my users proxified sites.
Am I searching for a holy grail? I currently run my own link at the top of the page... and I guess I could use like a javascript randomizer and run other website links on there as well, obviously those disabling javascript wont see them; but so far user stats show its nothing I have to worry about.
Someone maybe shoot me some ideas? Paypal donation link? Ads on the main proxy page (before users gain the server IP and are still using their own) - id like some feedback.
