Yep, but it is how the site is MARKETED NOT the "optimising" that makes that happen.

The optimising is very little to do with it. You could have a site that has a superb design, perfectly crafted text, no Flash elements, no javascript needed to display content. In fact nothing at all that puts a bar in the way of SE bots.
But, if it isn't marketed properly it will probably never see light of day in the SERPs

You're correct, I mentioned it 2 or 3 times already on either page 1 or 2 of these threads. I was noticing that everyone was skipping to the last page to post & not reading the previous pages, so without totally duplicating my previous posts, I made a quick reminder post

Optimizing a site IS part of marketing. Sooner or later the SE bots will pick your site up. Once it shows up in SERPS (being optimized) other people will know about it. If you have a great content people will start talking about you and linking to you. And here's the marketing

Of course, you can have a site popular in 5 years doing little marketing...or popular in 1 years doing much more marketing (and not just optimizing).

While it's true that optimizing is a part of marketing, all the off-site tactics (in the case of this thread, "Article Writing", or showing up in SERPS), have nothing to do with "Optimizing Your Site". Any optimizing you do is done to your *own* site.

write unique articles and submite it to blog (Guest Posting). It is best way to increase search engine traffic.

Not true. Say your site for widgets is the only one. Some new widget company comes along and launches a high value per click campaign but with a limited amount to spend. Great, you get 10, 1 dollar clicks today. On the other hand, if you have 9 other sites with your article with the same keywords running adsense, then you each get a 1 dollar click. After those 10 are distributed among the sites, you are back too 5 and 6 cent clicks for something unrelated. It is very important if there are too many sites competing for your keywords.

Really? What strategy are we talking about? We're talking about article submission correct? I bet you could go through a huge list of article directories out there and not find more than 10 articles that are well written, useful articles linking to any of the sites you mentioned. In face, I think you'd be lucky to find one article but I wanted to be safe. Most of the sites that are submitting articles are spammy sites that disappear after a few months anyway.

edit: Sorry guys, I didn't realize that this thread was 5 pages long or I wouldn't have bothered as you guys probably commented on everything I just did.
