Hello,

Do you have any experience with paid to click sites to advertising your web site?

Let's see.

You want people to PAY YOU to click your site. They should say "wow that there's some gud web hosting - gimme somma that!" and give you $10 a month.

Paying them to look at your web site and not buy anything, well, it doesn't bring you any profit, and it's a waste of money. Not really sure what else there is to say?

PPC advertising does work, but you need to worry about click fraud. The last company I worked for used it extensively. The number of clicks the services reported and the number of clicks we logged were usually off. Some dishonest people click ads on their own sites or pay people to do it for them. It will work, you just need to be really careful who you advertise with and put you ads in a place where you would get high conversion.

It is probably smarter to set up an affiliate program or revenue sharing. That way you get advertising and only need to pay when you actually sell something.

It depends what you mean by "paid to click" sites. PPC ads are good, and usually better than pay-per-impression. PPC is often good because it usually gets you targeted traffic of people who are genuinely interested in your site.

However, "pay to click" usually refers to a person actually getting paid to click the site. This isn't good, because the person isn't clicking because they are interested; they are just clicking to make money. Also, they if they are so desperate for cash, they won't have any money to buy anything from you.

PPC (pay per click) and paid to click are 2 different things.

Pay per click is normally where you put ads on a site and then a visitor will come to that site and if he/she sees the ad and is interested in what it says he/she will click on it.

Paid to click is normally where a site has this opperation going one where they get advertisers listed on their site and they then get members that then earn money for clicking on their advertisers links. So in other words these people will just go on the site, click on the ads, collect the money from that site and then move onto the next paid to click site.

If you want to do advertising use pay per click like Adwords and not GPT (get paid to) click sites.
