Create a new image.
Fill the background with a black to grey gradient. Use the gradient editor to make one if there isn't one as standard.
Add a vector layer. Call it "Orange"
Create a rounded rectangle in this layer. Set the stroke colour to a dark orange, set the fill to a black to orange graduation, again use the gradient editor to make it suit what you need.
Push the object partially off the image area
add a vector layer. Call it "Blue".
Add another rounded rectangle. set stroke to none, solid fill to suit your colours.
In the layer palette duplicate the blue layer. Call it "Blue Overlay"
in this copy edit the rectangle, set fill to none, set stroke to solid, set colour and width to suit.
Select "Blue" layer and move the transparency slider to ~50%
Add a vector layer. Call it "Green"
Repeat the same steps as were done for the blue layer but using a gradiation fill
Name the green copy to "Green Overlay"

Move the "Blue Overlay" to the top of the layer stack and there you have it.

Enjoy!

On the Tool Palette. "Preset Shapes" Use the drop down selector to choose the shape needed.

I just looked at XI, it doesn't have it, the choices are, draw a square or a rectangle. What you will have to do is introduce this preset from your earlier PSP software. While in XI, click on Preferences, File Location, on the far right click on add, that's where you will be able to add your presets, tubes, etc from earlier editions of PSP software if installed on your computer.

Hi Giselle
I had a look at the "Preferences, File Location" you mentioned and I was lost.

Could you give me a step by step instruction on how to add presets to pspx1

Unless there is a psp tutorial around somewhere.

TIA

Hello TIA, click on your preset tool, from the drop down menu see if you have Preset Shape, if so click on that one instead of the Rectangle. On the left side you should see Presets, next to it a box with an upside down triangle which you can open up to a drop down menu with shapes, look for your rounded rectangle. If not, I have an older tutorial that will tell you how to import presets from PSP Version 7 into PSP Version 8. The concept is the same for PSP Version XI. I have imported all my tubes from Version 7 into XI.

If none of this is helping TIA, let me know, I will zip up the preset shapes for you and you will be able to get them here. Then unzip them onto your hard drive and install them into XI.
