I am new to Paint Shop Pro... I have PSP9 and PSPX and Animation Shop 3.5

1st Problem - Text - I cannot colour text full stop - no matter what I try the text never colours up. I am use to using ms - power point where to colour text you just hit the colour you want and its done.

2nd Problem - I have a few animated gifs (sparkles etc) that I want to add to plain backs as sigs/tags - but when i try to add them and save I am promted by "image saved as single layer" and the animation lost.

I know I am not reading it right so any help / advice PLEASE

Make sure your materials palette is set to the color you want to spray your text, with your text tool, you have options, vector. floating and floating. If the options is on selections you will have no color but just as they call it the marching ants and no color. So you want to pick vector or floating and your text will be colored to your choosing.

With animations you have to duplicate your frames, but am giving you a link to a simple animation which I learned from..
