Every time I implement ever the most simple of js in one of my sites ie always pops up with a security risk? Does anyone know why this is or what I can do to stop it?

in the IE "Tools" menu you'll have to readjust your security settings to allow JS to run.

Are you opening the files off your hard drive? Internet browsers will treat files saved on your computer different then files on the internet. Usually you need to change a setting to allow Javascript for files saved on your computer.

oh yes, had this problem too and it drove me nuts until I finally found the setting -- it's either in your Internet Options or maybe the Security Options. I have this written down somewhere in my office, but I'm not in there right now. Check out those options tho, it's in there!
