Hi, I'm a newbie and not an expert web developer. Could you kindly tell me if there is a javascript available (or some other way) which I can use to display a form on a webpage, where when a visitor enters a decoy URL within a text box, the script has to capture a certain value - based on which the user has to be redirected to the real URL of the file.

What I intented was to replace and hide the actual location of the file. and not to lead the user to something malicious.

A likely example would be www.savetube.com

I later heard that this should not be done by JS, because it could be reverse-engineered. All the same, I would like to know how it is done by JS.
