When a user mouses over my articles link, I want a small box to appear where I can list a few text links/descriptions. How would I do this? I dont want colors or anything, just a small white box with a few simple text links.

UltimaTips should take care of that. You just create your own element exactly the way you want it, style it display:none then specify its ID to the script.
