Hi, I have never used Javascript before. I want to create a simple thing in my website. Basically, a word will be written in English. Then people will type the Spanish translation in a form under the word. If they are right, it will say so, and if they are wrong, it will say so.

I've been trying to work out how to do this the last 3 hours and my brain is in agony. Thanks all for anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Im assuming you are going to do more then just ONE word. In which case use PHP. Get a database and make 3 columns, one for the id, one for the english word and then one for the spanish translation.

Then all you have to do is output the english word where the ID is = a randomly chosen number and if the spanish that they type is the same as the spanish associated with that ID they are right.
