I am using a javascript page curl ad but its not working on IE and it seems to be very slow on Firefox can anyone help? http://www.dragonstardesign.com/pages/advertise.html

FF linux here, and your page load in less than 1 sec (722ms says firebug).
Nothing slow in loading, and every scripts looks like running fine...

I don't see no problems.

Its a page curl ad that is slow to open and its not showing in IE the script is from http://powerupmysite.com/components/pagecurlpro/v2/

from the looks of things, the flash component is what is causing you trouble.
I'd recommend that you contact the powerupmysite folks.
