hey guys i was wondering if there is a way for me to load an image on my website scrambled up which would unscramble itself as the user scrolls his mouse over it? Please let me know, thanks.

Load the scrambled image on mouse out, and then load a second unscrambled image on mouse over. It takes two images, but it would work.

yes but would it unscramble gradually that way ? I don't want it to unscramble right away. I want there to be a little anticipation.

That's more work. Use a timer and a few pre-loaded images.

Might just be easier to use an animated GIF image for that type of visual effect.
