Ok, so I was doing some thinking.. I recall a recent thread of mine learning how important and stable java is as opposed to how i previously thought of it as lame, outdated, and unstable.

So, can we have a OS completely based on java if java is THAT good?


1. Does one already exist?


2. If not, what would the characteristics that java attribute override the previous languages of OS?


3. Can it be extended to the client-server relationship of websites, so we can have websites with their own "OS"?
