I don't need help with this or anything I just want to share it, it converts text to 5x5 div-grid recreating text as pixels. It was an idea I had earlier today so I brought it to life with some javascript and binary.
It takes a long time to load depending on the length of the string though. I had it using scriptalicious to animate the letters (Imagine an animation of text moving down, but each letter splits into seperate pixels and then reforms). That was too laggy in IE6 and FF2 though. Although Google Chrome was smooth as ice. I took that out, but the text can still render.
