Okay.

I'd like to create an application that processes stuff but I'm not sure if it needs a JS coder, PHP, Ajax or a mix, or another web language.

I'm sure there are plenty of directory submission software out there, but I want to make this as a tool for online.

Needs like:
  • I'd like to make this widget that can be placed on a server and do some work for me.
  • This work, I want this application to do for me, entails 'manually going to directories' and having to submit each and every thing manually.
  • FF nor Safari (I'm on a Macbook) auto complete each field for me, so I'd like this application to assist Safari & FF in auto completing.
  • I'd like to be able to change the listing of directories/site based on my preferences(maybe if the PR drops to 0 after google update, I drop them from my list, automatically but it notes 'x, y, z directory was dropped due to loss of PR or etc....').

I'd also like the same idea but for Videos uploading as well. I do a lot of videos and it's a pain in my butt to get them on numerous video sites. Would I need a programmer to know each API to the site(s) I want to submit to?

Any suggestions on what TYPE of coding I'm looking for, in someone, to get this job done? I have more requests and additions to the apps but for now, that will give you the ghist. Thanks in advance.

I guess you missed 'I'm on a Mac' and I want this 'on a server'. Roboform is a program. Whereas I want to create an application.

So, I need to know all 3 of the languages? Plus the know how of API usage?

I take it that roboform doesn't have a MAC version then? programs are "applications" in the same way as blogs are websites.

AJAX IS javascript. Plus you'll will need some server side code to handle the video uploading to your server and the transferring to the remote server.
Yep, the script on your server will need to have all the details of every API for the remote sites you intend to use.

Why online? Because obviously your data transfer will be doubled on the server, as the video will have to be uploaded to your server, then uploaded from your server to the remote.

Why online? Cause I'm on a Mac and software is scarce and plus I want this program to be custom doing some more than just what I wrote.

I would also like to be able to manage the accounts through dashboard like 'manage comments' area and be able to comment on the server interface of this app and not have to go to the individual website.

Also, if it's on a server, I could share it with a few friends easier (just as long as they have a linux server).

Most of the syndication programs out there suck. They have only one desire, to game the serps. I'd like to be more holistic and have the social aspect as well, plus nice analytic features as well. I want a simple app at first then develop it even broader as I become more specific to my needs and desire for convenience.
