I have a <div> tag with a scrollbar, containing thumbnails of linked images. Clicking on these images opens up a page with a larger image and text, with the scrollbar in the same position of each of these pages with identical content. When you click on the thumbnails to open up new pages, the scrollbar position resets. Is there a way to log the position of the scrollbar and transfer it from page to page, so that the position doesn't reset? With cookies maybe? Is there a JS script?
The reason why I didn't use an iframe and opted to create an individual page for each image is that I also have a lightbox script installed on each image. But then the lightbox would load only within the iframe, which is not the desired effect.
I can post a sample image of the page(s) if I'm not being clear enough.
