This is SO silly... but... I have a WAMP setup, to test PHP, etc. For the last couple of days, on my local server, Javascript has been working intermittently. But on the live server, it works without a problem on exactly the same code. Any ideas, please?

It could possibly be the browser's security settings. Check if you need to allow localhost to be a trusted site.
