I was looking to make a website similar to the format of www.fmylife.com

My problem is I haven't made a website in years and I am using an older version of dreamweaver.

I don't remember how to make the code in order to have the visitor post something and have it display on the page to like the website above does. I dont know if i should use wordpress or try to figure/find some sort of code to be able to do this. Help please!

What you're describing needs to be done from the server, so this discussion can't be met with JavaScript. Wordpress could be modified to do what you say, but it would take some customization. I suggest you learn something about PHP: http://www.w3schools.com/php/default.asp

The Fmylife site looks vaguely familiar. I wouldn't be surprised if it's built in an open source application. It's basically a blog, but just not a Wordpress one.
