I want to put up before and after images and my idea is to use rollover images. I'm not sure if people will get it if I just explain to mouse over the image for a different view. Is it possible to have rollovers change with a button? I would like to have the button say "before" while in the retouched version and "after" in the original version if that's possible, possibly another rollover. My thought on it right now is to make the "button" a part of the whole rollover image and have it change name or change in look as if it's a separate button. I think this image will give you an idea on how I want to make this look:

If this is something that can't be done with HTML/CSS let me know. Any ideas on how I can make something like this work would be appreciated, possibly some kind of script, although I don't have any experience with them. I'm considering doing a Flash site instead, but I'm not up to speed on Flash just yet, still in a basic tutorial on it.

Thanks. What I still need to know is, can it be a separate button making the rollover change or does it have to be incorporated into the image itself?

Thanks for the input, it's good to know it can be done. I'm still new to most of this and need to move on beyond HTML/CSS.

I will make it work with what I know for now and definitely put java near the top of my list.

If you decide to go with javascript and you're ok with using jQuery, this plugin would be worth taking a look at.
