I am trying to run a very small script but unfortunately its not working.

Here's the function I've put in the header.

}
</script>

I've called it to in body section like this:

<div id="go" class="search_element2">

<input id="go" type="button" class="Gobtn" value="Go" onClick="doSearch();">
</div>


Checking value of this:

<div id="divCitySer">
<input id="get_city" class="input_city" style="cursorointer" value="Select City" />
</div>


Your help would be highly appreciated.

You are missing an } in your function declaration.
You open and close one at the "if", but don't close the one from the function declaration.

Just add it, and your function will work.
