I originally tried this jQuery script but found it to be quite problematic:

I don't think it's jQuery 1.4 compatible either.

I then went on to try a JavaScript script that I found elsewhere, but that also brings up new problems!

All I need is a simple bug-free jQuery plugin that will fix the opacity bug in IE6, or even a standard js script will do fine.

Anybody have any recommendations?
