Got an autosuggest search box on my site. It's great in FF, but so laggy in Chrome. Any ideas on what's causing it?

For me it actually seemed a tad faster in Chrome. I think its probably your own computer/internet connection than any problem with the browser itself.

Maybe? Not sure, because I tried them both at the same time, side by side. Firefox was way quicker.

In Chrome the result is essentially instant for me... not sure why it would be slow for your version of Chrome.

Have tried it on a older version of Chrome just now, and it's also slow again. Ahhh!

Wow! Dunno what kind of internet connections you guys have. I am in Perú and the Autosuggest is instant in both browsers.

I suggest you look at your internet service provider.

No I have 20MBit cable... it is not about internet connection.

It is how the script works (with FF it's fast, with Chrome it's slow).

Yeah you're right CSM, it's the site, not the speed.

It magically works in the latest Chrome update, but not in older versions, any one any ideas?!
