Hi there so I have kind of an odd question, but this client wants a site that looks like this...

Does anyone have any idea of a site that is built using that same kind of format?

Just need some sort of an example to go by..

That kind of functionality actually seems pretty straight forward and the animation isn't intense enough to require flash.

Use a plugin like:

http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarous...ic_simple.html

for the carousel part.

And when you hover over each item use jQuery's animate function to move the 2 previously hidden elements (top and bottom parts) pop out in opposite directions.
