I quess you mean the security bar that warns you Internet Explorer had restricted this file from showing active content.. blah blah!

This is only when you run the files on your computer and once you upload them onto the internet there should be no problem...

although if you want to disable this.. goto Tools » Internet Options » Advanced.. then scroll down to Security and check the option 'Allow active content to run in files on My Computer'.. but ofcourse this could pose a secuirty risk.

I dont think there is a such thing. Unless theres an error in the javascript IE shouldn't have any problems with it.

Maybe it'll be easier if you can provide an example.

Well XP with Service Pack 2 automatically blocks all javascript. It's not an issue of errors. It pops up with the ActiveX controll window and asks if you want to allow content. Alot of people don't understand this, it'll confuse them and in some cases cause an episode where the person thinks they have a virus. I'm asking if there is some line I can add to my script, like a doctype, that will alert the IE browser to the fact that it's ok to let this through.

It's really nothing special, just a image roll over.

I know there is something that lets the Javascript through. For example Yahoo! has javascript and SP2 doesn't complain. Even this page has javascript and IE doesn't have any problems at all. I'd like to know why and how to incorporate it into my code.
