Hi,
I'm building my new web portfolio.
http://www.hannab.com/open2.htm

Right now I have a simple menu that uses Anchor points to navigate. It doesn’t work that well, and I get lots of different result in different browsers.

Is there an easier way of doing this with out having to split my page up in to more then the one page?

Thank you
Hanna

Agreed, but it's the only sensible answer.

Horizontal scrolling is one of the biggest no-nos for any website design.

Oh! and BTW named anchors only work vertically.

You might be able to do it with javascript - does anyone know if there is a way to control the postion of a scrollbar with javascript? Would it be hard to line things up across browsers?

I would also urge you to reconsider your design. The vertical text is hard to read, it is not obvious that you have to click the images to see the descriptions, and your other links are way over to the right hand side where no one can find them easily!
