I have a drop down menu that is going behind a pic - actually a flash move - instead of dropping down in front of it. . . mouse over the "Our Boats" tab here http://www.sumnergroup.com/bayracer

Looks fine on a Macintosh, but when viewed on a PC, it definately goes behind the graphic . . . any suggestions?

Set the z-index of the menu to like a hundred or something
HTML Code:
style="z-index:100;"

Also put your Javascript code at the top of the page, or at least above the image code. I found that worked for me when I had the same problem

Here's where you find out how stupid I am . . .

I constructed the website using Behaviors in Dreamweaver MX. . . . know very little right now (that's about to change!) about JavaScript. . .

Where do I stick the code, style="z-index:100;"? Can you look at my source and give me an example of where that goes?

Thanks so much!!!!

z-index works with absolute positioning and can be applied at the end of your img definition. The image if it is to be behind the menu should be a low z-index wheras the css/ menu should be a higher index.

The higher the index the greater the visibility. Imagine a series of layers one on top of the other. z-index works exactly the same way where a high z-index (layer) will be shown over a lower index(layer).
